Rancho Cucamonga Announces Thoroughbred Holiday Schedule and RULES
2023 Holiday Lights Display Information:
This year, the access dates and times for the Thoroughbred Lights are drive-thru only from December 4 through December 24 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The holiday lights display is not city-sanctioned; however, a traffic management plan was established to reduce traffic congestion and provide access for public safety. The safety of our residents and visitors is a top priority.
We encourage everyone to follow the ordinance, obey traffic laws, and most importantly, be safe and enjoy!
Here are the RULES:
Vehicles will only be allowed into the traffic loop to view the lights through the approved route. Vehicles in line shall not block any intersection or driveway along the route.
The traffic loop is Drive-Through only. Once inside the loop, there is NO STOPPING. Idle speed must be maintained at a minimum.
All vehicle occupants are to remain in their seats. Sitting on any exterior part of the vehicle or in pick-up truck beds is not allowed. No exiting the vehicle at any time.
There are no restrooms, gasoline, snacks, food, drinks, or trash services available past the businesses at 19th Street & Carnelian Avenue. Prepare accordingly.
Deputies will be posted along the route and inside the traffic loop to enforce seatbelt violations, impeding traffic, and other violations.
Traffic controlled access to the lights will end at 11 PM nightly.
